The Pfister Hotel is the official hotel for the Milwaukee Art Museum. Set along the lakefront, the museum has gained fame for its Frank Lloyd Wright items, notable collections, and a signature $100 million addition by world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava which won “Best Design of 2001” by Time Magazine. It features a 90-foot-high glass-walled reception room and a wing-like design that rises dramatically above the lakefront, a new symbol of this world-class city. The museum also offers a gift shop and waterfront restaurant.
