ABOUT OUR CELLAR
Celia’s wine cellar is an ever-evolving collection of over 7500 bottles from all over the world. WHAT MAKES A GREAT BOTTLE OF WINE?
So many factors affect the taste and quality of a wine. First and foremost, there’s the grape varietal. Add location, soil, microclimates, methods of viticulture, appellations and wine producers, and you have an infinite number of factors that can influence the final outcome. From a deep garnet French Bordeaux to a straw-gold Russian River Chardonnay, the allure of wine is truly captivating.
Following are just a few of the Old World and New World wine regions from which Celia’s wine list is drawn:
CALIFORNIA Napa Valley and Sonoma County are home to robust Cabernets, magnificent Merlots and beautifully orchestrated Chardonnays.
FRANCE Regarded by many as the best wines in the world. From the crisp sparkling wines of Champagne to smooth reds of Burgundy to rich sweet wines of Sauternes, France features the entire spectrum of wine styles.
ITALY An enormous wine producer, Italy features the soft, ripe fruit of a Chianti Classico to a refreshingly light Pinot Grigio.
GERMANY Known everywhere for its incomparable, intense Rieslings.
AUSTRALIA This increasingly popular wine region produces world-class wines, including spicy Shiraz and Cabernet blends.
